IDAHO VOTING REMINDER

  1. Today, Saturday March 2, is Idaho’s Presidential Caucus.  The caucus starts at 11:00 am Pacific Time, and 12:01pm Mountain Time (southern Idaho).

If you are registered as a Republican or voted in the last election you can   vote.  You should have gotten a card in the mail.  If you did not or lost it, I can   help.  You might not vote at your regular places.  It tells you where to go on the   card you got.  If you need to know where to go, call me at 208-772-7748 and I can tell you.  (Don’t wait till the last minute as I will be working at the election          location.)  It would save time if you knew your precinct.  If you do not remember    you can go to Kootenai County Elections, and use the Look Up function.  You will         need some ID, driver’s license, or passport etc.

No matter what, be sure to vote.  Voting will not take long as there will be no          speeches.

  1. Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity will have heavy effects Obviously the president cannot be immune from every infraction of any law, but things done as a part of his job.  Will the court be able to make that distinction?  Those making accusations are in no position to cast the first stone.

  1. DeSantis says no to VP: Not in any circumstances. The question is this: “If not Trump, then who?”.  I think DeSantis is the next best.  Whoever they should choose you have to look at the long pull.  Trump is in good shape, but things happen, so the vice president could become the president.  So who would we want for that?  There are some great women being considered, but I do not think America is ready for a woman president.  As we get closer to the convention Trump and DeSantis will have to bury the hatchet and re-consider.  I think DeSantis for VP and Doctor Ladapo for governor of Florida.
  1. Trump Supports 16 Week Ban on Abortion While saving even one life from abortion is a winner, the 16 week ban on abortion cannot be defended by the medical science.  Nothing takes place to define the 16 week, except the heart-beat.  But the heart is beating much before that.  In fact before the woman realizes she is pregnant.  From conception to birth the only definable milestone is the birth itself.  Any reasonable pro-life policy makes abortion illegal from conception.  That is tradition.
