IDAHO VOTING REMINDER
- Today, Saturday March 2, is Idaho’s Presidential Caucus. The caucus starts at 11:00 am Pacific Time, and 12:01pm Mountain Time (southern Idaho).
If you are registered as a Republican or voted in the last election you can vote. You should have gotten a card in the mail. If you did not or lost it, I can help. You might not vote at your regular places. It tells you where to go on the card you got. If you need to know where to go, call me at 208-772-7748 and I can tell you. (Don’t wait till the last minute as I will be working at the election location.) It would save time if you knew your precinct. If you do not remember you can go to Kootenai County Elections, and use the Look Up function. You will need some ID, driver’s license, or passport etc.
No matter what, be sure to vote. Voting will not take long as there will be no speeches.

- Supreme Court decision on presidential immunity will have heavy effects Obviously the president cannot be immune from every infraction of any law, but things done as a part of his job. Will the court be able to make that distinction? Those making accusations are in no position to cast the first stone.
- DeSantis says no to VP: Not in any circumstances. The question is this: “If not Trump, then who?”. I think DeSantis is the next best. Whoever they should choose you have to look at the long pull. Trump is in good shape, but things happen, so the vice president could become the president. So who would we want for that? There are some great women being considered, but I do not think America is ready for a woman president. As we get closer to the convention Trump and DeSantis will have to bury the hatchet and re-consider. I think DeSantis for VP and Doctor Ladapo for governor of Florida.
- Trump Supports 16 Week Ban on Abortion While saving even one life from abortion is a winner, the 16 week ban on abortion cannot be defended by the medical science. Nothing takes place to define the 16 week, except the heart-beat. But the heart is beating much before that. In fact before the woman realizes she is pregnant. From conception to birth the only definable milestone is the birth itself. Any reasonable pro-life policy makes abortion illegal from conception. That is tradition.

Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift. (2 Corinthians 9:15)

He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.

- Please see the attachment by Brent Regan concerning the caucus.
I know there have been a lot of complaints about the caucus. We are also facing an initiative for open primaries. One has to consider exactly the purpose of a primary. The primary is where the party selects the ones they want to represent them in the general election. There can be no reason for folk outside the party to vote in a Republican primary.
Those who are concerned about the caucus and no presidential primary must take most of the blame. Starting in August we began to pressure for a special session of the Legislature to deal with this, but the Governor told me he would not call for a special session unless he was assured that the Legislature would pass it. That assurance never came because you did not talk to your legislator about it. Dorothy Moon and the Republican Party are doing the best they can to maintain election integrity in Idaho.
- Could Fani Willis be disqualified and go to jail for lying under oath? Don’t hold your breath. So far nothing has happened to any of those who have continued unconstitutional actions.
- Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre may soon leave her post This would be so sad. She is about all the free entertainment we get these days.
- Some Scientists say dehydrating the stratosphere could combat climate change This is utter nonsense. It would be a huge action. The harder they work at it the worse it gets. Plus, there is no reason to fight natural weather.
- Illinois Court Rules Trump cannot be on the ballot: Ballots already printed and sent: Case on hold pending appeals This case is before the Supreme Court; their decision will affect several states.

- One Poll shows DeSantis most popular for VP I still think DeSantis. Both he and Trump would have to bury the past. I do not believe we are ready for a woman president. Maybe I am wrong. There are some great men who support Trump and would make great Vice Presidents.
- Biden Administration planted operative in DA Fani Willis’ Office to target Trump: interfere with 2024 election
- The Biden Administration has taken control of all school bathrooms: contrary to state law: This is not constitutional and must fail. Boys can use girl’s bathroom etc. This is simply crazy.

Wednesday February 28, 2024 New Book: Galatians, Book List

February 28, 2024
Dear Friends,
Here is our latest book, a commentary on the book of Galatians.
I will provide the book without charge to anyone who would share the book with a group. I would just need a name and address.
Here is information about the book.
Galatians: Commentary 2024
No one can be considered truly educated if they have not made a serious study of the Bible. The Bible is the world’s standard for truth. Although the Bible does not answer every possible question about life and the world around us, it always guides us in the right direction to find the truth if we truly want it.
The book of Galatians was written for people who somehow thought that if they just worked hard enough, God would have to bless them. The writer makes it clear in verse after verse that salvation is solely the work of God in saving the sinner. There is simply no work that can earn our salvation.
This commentary on the book of Galatians is written for the sinner who wants to know the truth. It is written for the Christian who wants to know more about what the Bible actually says and who wants to grow in his/her understanding of what the text stands for.
The Greek words are first presented with the various renderings and then some commentary to help the reader better understand what the words actually mean.
It is the hope of the author that the reader will undertake a serious study of all of the Bible, not just what is covered in this short text. Our prayer is that you will find the study very rewarding.
Please see the attached which lists former books, and provides more information.
Thanks so much.

Climate Change: A Convenient Truth $17.95
Climate Change: A Convenient Truth Kindle $9.49
Will the World Really End Unless We Spend Billions on Climate Change Policy? The people around us are somehow convinced that the world is about to end unless we stop using fossil fuels. There is no scientific evidence to support this. This book explains why this belief is simply not true in terms anyone can understand. Fossil fuels have made America great. This book explains why we need to keep it that way.
- Cortez: A Biography 2020
Cortez: A Biography Paperback $23.95
The life of Hernando Cortéz is the story of how one man with a handful of loyal soldiers overcame a progressive Indian culture of over one million.
There was nothing in the character of this young man that set him apart from others, yet once chosen to be the leader of this great Conquest he could move only one direction: Forward. Months of terrible tragedy did not discourage him from the one goal, the Conquest of the Aztec Nation.
Whatever may be thought of the Conquest in a moral view, regarded as a military achievement it must fill us with astonishment. Cortéz and a handful of adventurers, indifferently armed and equipped, landed on the shores of a powerful empire inhabited by a fierce and warlike race, and forced their way into the interior.
This they did without knowledge of the language or of the land, without chart or compass to guide them, without any idea of the difficulties they were to encounter, totally uncertain whether the next step might bring them on a hostile nation, or on a desert, feeling their way along in the dark, as it were. This book, then, details their successes and failures until the goal was reached.
- The Ancient Culture Of The Aztec Empire 2021
The Ancient Culture of the Aztec Empire Paperback $18.82
It was a culture like no other in North America. Where other tribes were nomadic the Aztec built cities of thousands and suburbs with a large agriculture. They had beautiful gardens with plants from all over their world.
Mexico was a city like no other: paved streets, stone buildings, and large pyramids with temples on top. It had a zoo and an aviary with many birds. It had tanks with both fresh and saltwater for fish. But it had no wagons and no beasts of burden.
Montezuma had subjected most all of the towns around, many with several thousand Indians. In the end, this proved to be his undoing as these tribes, after losing in battle, quickly made league with the Spanish conquerors.
Yet for all their science their religion was totally barbaric. They believed their god, a white man, would one day return, which left them open to the Spanish conqueror. Then, they offered human sacrifices and even cannibalism, a horrible practice.
They were a proud people, in the end refusing to give up until many were dead from starvation. The most advanced civilization in North America ultimately fell to the sword of the Spanish and the Conquest.
- Abortion Compassion 2022
Abortion Compassion Paperback $5.22
Abortion Compassion Kindle$9.99
In our society we have always stood for the little guy. No matter the cause we have always come to the defense of those who seemed unable to defend themselves.
So it is truly surprising that we do not come to the aid of those who have no defense at all, the unborn.
After they are born when tragedy strikes we would scoop them up in our arms and protect them from all danger, but before they are born they are just out of sight, out of mind.
I often wonder how many of these little ones would have grown up to be president, or a senator or representative, or a great scientist or astronaut. We will never know as they never had a chance.
Every life is precious, no matter how small. This book provides a dramatic picture of life from conception to birth. No matter our situation can we at least give these little ones the most precious thing of all, their lives?
- Book of Romans: Commentary 2023
Romans: A Commentary Hardcover $38.41
Romans: A Comnmnentary Kindle $9,99
Without a doubt, the book of Romans is the most important New Testament book for those who seek to understand simple biblical principles as well as something to use in leading others to Christ.
The book displays in dynamic relief the work of Christ who died on the cross of Calvary for sinners.
Not only is the salvation of the sinner clearly presented, but a limited history of Israel is also in view.
There is also plenty of practical information on the Christian’s daily walk with Christ.
No Christian can say he is well taught unless he has made a careful study of the book of Romans. This book is written for those who want to know the truth about Christ as well as those Christians who want their faith increased. There is also plenty of original language material for the serious Bible scholar.
Romans is a book for everyone, unsaved and saved alike. Everyone who reads the book and this commentary will be greatly enriched.

HAVING therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (2 Corinthians 7:1)

- If you live in Idaho do what you can to convince the Idaho legislature to not support a constitutional convention. We have a great constitution, it is just ignored by the government. Here are a few you could help to see that if we do have a convention the delegates will be mainly left wingers, and our Constitution would be in real danger. This is simply the wrong time for a convention.
If you contact anyone you might keep this in mind:
Especially focus on the following “on-the-fence” senators. Especially if you live in their districts, call and meet in-person with them to express your opposition to SCR 112:
Sen. Doug Okuniewiez (R): 1-208-918-1495
- Sen. Ben Toews (R): 1-208-209-7791
- Sen. Chris Trakel (R): 1-986-210-7653

- Sen. Ben Adams (R): 1-208-546-9393
- Sen. Carl Bjerke (R): 1-208-704-0925
Please contact your state legislators, and urge them to oppose SCR 112, SCR 114, and SCR 115, and to truly rein in federal overreach by following and enforcing our existing Constitution. Also let them know that an Article V convention would not fix the problems of big government, and instead risk the replacement of the Constitution with a revised, socialist-leaning constitution.

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. (2 Corinthians 6:16-18)

- Supreme Court says no loan forgiven; Biden says we have another plan None of what the Democrats do makes any sense. This is not fair to those who worked hard to pay off their debt, or how about those who did not borrow, but are now helping to pay off these loans. Time for some changes.
- Iowa 6 week abortion ban challenged: Some doctors say fetus does not even have a heart by 6 weeks In fact, the baby has a heart even before the woman knows she is pregnant. It is one of the first organs developed. It first forms outside the baby, then gradually is enclosed. This has never been a good law. Nothing takes place at 6 weeks; no change in development. A child is a human from conception and has all the protections of the V and XIV Amendments to save life. No abortions from conception is the only policy that can be defended. One court has even ruled that babies conceived outside the womb and then frozen, are human and must be protected.

Caucus FAQs
As the Republican Presidential Preference Caucus approaches (Saturday March 2nd,) both interest and questions are increasing. Here are some of the questions and their answers, FYI.
Why are we having a caucus?
The Secretary of State wanted to consolidate the March Presidential Primary with the May General Primary, however, the legislation drafted to do that actually eliminated the Presidential Primary altogether. The Legislature passed the bill and the Governor signed it. The Republican Party lobbied to repeal the bill but it was not repealed, so the Republican Party stepped up and is conducting a caucus to enfranchise Idaho Republican voters. Idaho will be the sixth state in the nation to select their delegates to the Republican National Convention.
How is a caucus different than a primary?
A primary election is run by the local government and paid for with your tax dollars and electioneering is not allowed within 100 feet of a polling location. A Republican Caucus as a private event organized and paid for by the Republican Party for Republican voters. Electioneering by Republican candidates is allowed and encouraged.
I am a Republican, can I attend?
Yes, if you are an Idaho registered voter and affiliated with the Republican Party before January 1st of this year, you can attend the caucus that is being held for you in your precinct.
Can I bring a friend who is not a registered voter?
No, only Republican voters and their minor children may attend. No guests are permitted as space may be limited at some locations.
What time will the caucus end?
Doors will open and check-in will begin at 11:00 AM Pacific Time / Noon Mountain Time and balloting may start shortly thereafter. The caucus program is scheduled to start one hour later at Noon Pacific / 1:00 PM Mountain and Check-In is scheduled to close at 12:30 Pacific / 1:30 Mountain. Anyone in line at 12:30 Pacific Time / 1:30 Mountain Time will be allowed to check-in and vote. Balloting will continue until all the Republicans who have checked in have had the opportunity to vote.
Do I need a ticket or postcard to attend?
No, but it is a good idea to bring the postcard your household should have received listing your precinct name and your caucus location. You need to know your precinct name so you can be directed to the correct Poll Book to sign-in.
Is there Mail-In voting?
No. All voting is same day and in person using paper ballots that are tabulated on site in full view of witnesses.
What do I need to bring with me?
You must have government issued photo ID, the same as with regular voting. Student ID is not sufficient.
Can the media attend the caucus?
Yes, but only if they are a registered voter, affiliated with the Republican Party and are attending at their precinct location. The caucus rules do not allow for guests.
Can I register to vote and then participate in the caucus?
No. Only voters who affiliated with the Republican Party before January 1st can participate.
Will there be multiple rounds of voting like in 2012?
No, there will be only one vote. After casting your vote you can leave or stay and watch the tabulation.
I have moved since January 1st. Where do I go to caucus?
You can only caucus at the precinct you were registered in on January 1st of this year.
How long will it take?
It depends on the location and turnout. If you get there when the doors open (11:00 AM Pacific, Noon Mountain), stay for the program and candidate presentation and then leave after balloting, it could take one to two hours, more if turnout is high and less if turnout is low. You can also skip the program and candidate presentation and just get checked-in, cast you ballot and leave.
Can I collect signatures for the Ranked Choice Voting Initiative at the caucus?
No. Both the National and Idaho Republican Parties have taken an official position against Ranked Choice Voting. Petition circulation at caucus locations is not allowed and anyone attempting to solicit signatures will be asked to leave.
Is my caucus location the same as my regular polling place?
Probably not. In most cases your caucus location is different than your usual polling location because a caucus requires a larger facility. Go to www.IdahoRepublicanCaucus.com to find your caucus location.
What if I am handicapped and require special accommodations to vote?
Most caucus locations are ADA compliant. If you require additional accommodations, please contact your Caucus Captain. You will find their contact information here: www.IdahoRepublicanCaucus.com
Where can I find additional information?
www.IdahoRepublicanCaucus.com
If you have additional questions, email them to outreach@IDGOP.org
This Idaho Republican Presidential Preference Caucus is being conducted at no cost to Idaho residents by thousands of Republican volunteers from every precinct in Idaho. They are your friends and neighbors who have stepped up to help you participate. Please be patient and courteous so you will have the best experience possible.
It’s just common sense.

Imagine we lived in a world where all cars were EVs, and then along comes a new invention, the “Internal Combustion Engine”! Think how well they would sell: A vehicle half the weight, half the price that will almost quarter the damage done to the road.l A vehicle that can be re-fueled in 1/0th of the time and has a range of up to 4 times the distance in all weather conditions. It does not rely on the environmentally damaging use of non-renewable rare earth elements to power it, and uses far less steel and other materials. Just think how excited people would be for such technology, it would sell like hot cakes!
